How does it work?
As an organisation, you’re always on the hunt for the right talent that’s the best fit for your available roles. AFLW Players are highly motivated and driven people. Many of the skills they possess translate into being a great employee. AFLW players excel under pressure, they know how to deliver and time manage, they are high-performing team members and they are incredible leaders on and off the field. Many of these attributes are hard to acquire, success in the sporting arena requires the ability to take on feedback and hone skills for better performance, making AFLW players wonderful potential employees.
Workplay makes it easy to match athletes to flexible working opportunities. Register your organisation with as much detail as possible and add your job postings as they become available. All registered athletes will have immediate access to the roles published by each organisation.
Offering flexibility in the workplace is essential in championing AFLW Players to thrive on and off the field. Understanding employers that can support women athletes throughout their playing careers ensure that players have a better chance of successful transition when they move to the chapter that follows their playing career.
Workplay is currently available to all AFLW, AFL, and AFL Club Partners, all you need to do is register, and then start posting your opportunities. Want to see your own organisation on Workplay?
