How does it work?

Workplay for AFLW Players, VFLW Players and women involved in the umpiring program is all about making your path through recruitment as seamless as possible.

This is an opportunity to demonstrate the skills, leadership and work ethos of an athlete.

By building a complete profile of yourself and creating your story (perhaps even adding in a video of your bio!), prospective employers are able ascertain if you’re a great fit for roles they have advertised, and conversely allows you to search roles that match what you are looking for. Key to finding the perfect match is filling out your personal profile with as much detail as possible, including the nitty gritty of salary expectations and type of work, whether that be full-time, part-time or casual.

Your PDM can also support in assisting you in matching suitable roles as they become available. You will still need to go through a recruitment process with the employer, however the job opportunity is deemed ‘Workplay’ friendly.
